Common Name The Intact Cyrtosia [refers to the complete rim of the lip]

Found in Yunnan province of China, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam in tropical evergreen forests at elevations around 300 to 1000 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing, mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with an erect, branched at nodes stem with glabrous to pubescent, ovate, acute, coriaceous sheaths that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal and often several, axillary racemes, furfuraceous, 8 to 26" [20 to 65 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with ovate, furfuraceous bracts
