Common Name The Caqueta Cyrtochilum [A department of Colombia

Found in Caqueta department of Colombia at elevations around 2000 meters as a medium sized cool to cold growing epiphyte with an ascending, short rhizome with 1.2" [3 cm] between each, narrowly pyriform, complanate, longitudinally grooved pseudobulbs enveloped by numerous, foliaceous sheaths and carrying 2, apical, conduplicate, oblong, narrowing basally, apically acute, 7 prominent veins beneath leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on an axillary, 6'4" [190 cm] long, peduncle with 3 bracts, paniculate, many branched, 6 to 7.2" [15 to 18 cm,] between each branch, each branch 2 to 4 flowered, many flowered inflorescence carrying showy flowers.
