Common Name The Incan Cyrtochilum

Flower Size 1.6 [4 cm]

Found in central Peru in cool wet forests in dense scrubby vegetation at elevations around 1750 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a long, straggling, ascending, woody with age rhizome giving rise to ovoid pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 or so shortly foliaceous sheaths and carrying 2, apical, erect, conduplicate basally, linear, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on anaxilalry, erect, slghtly fractiflex, peduncel to 20" [50 cm] long, rachis to 3' [90 cm] long, severa to many shortly brranched, each branch 1 to 6 flowered, many flowered inflorescence .
