Common Name The Javanese Cyrtosia - In China Rou Guo Lan

Flower Size vertically 5/8" [1.4 cm]

Occurring in Yunnan province of Chian, Thailand, penninsular Malaysia, Java, Sumatra, Borneo and Taiwan in bamboo forests at elevations of 700 to 2700 meters in lower montane, primary, evergreen, broad-leafed forests as a mini-miniature to small sized, warm to cold growing leafless mycoheterotrophic herb with a stout, erect rhizome with several spreading cylindrical fleshy roots and carrying several, erect, branched, often curved stems with numerous scale leaves and blooms on a terminal, elongating inflorescence with successive, nonresupinate flowers.
