Common Name Gonzalez's Cyrtopodium [Brazilian cleric and orchid enthusiast current]

Flower Size .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm]

Found in Goias and Minas Gerais states of Brazil in dry fields that have annual brush fires with small, conical-elongate pseudobulbs completely buried in the substrate that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a simple, unbranched, 8 to 14 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, longer than the pedicel floral bracts
