Common Name The Glaucous Leaved Cyrtorchis

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in northern Mozambique at elevations around 500 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with suberect, glaucous, ligulate, conduplicate, fleshy leaves that blooms in the later summer and fall on an axillary, arising from the upper leaves, peduncle 1.6" [4 cm] long, slender, 4 to 6” [10 to 15 cm] long overall, laxly 6 flowered inflorescence with ovate, spreading, apiculate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying white flowers.

"This species, which as regards to the structureof the pollinarium closely resembles C. neglecta is charaterizad by the narrower glaucous leaves and markedly S shaped spurs." Summerhayes 1966
