Common Name The Shadowy Cyrtochilum

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in Colombia? and Venezuela at elevations around 1500 to 1920 meters in grass and short scrub as a large sized, cool growing terrestrial orchid with narrowly ovoid to ovoid pseudobulbs enveloped basally by several distichous, imbricate, leafless on the outer and leaf-bearing on the inner sheaths and carrying 2, apical, erect, somewhat thin, linear, linear-lanceolate, to linear-oblanceolate, acute, attenuate below into the elongate, conduplicate, petiolate base leaves that blooms on a 6' 8" [200 cm] long, paniculate, fractiflex, distantly branched, rebranching each 2" [5 cm] between each,each carrying 4 to 8 flowers, many flowered inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb.
