Common Name The 5 Rowed Callus Cyrtochilum

Found in Ecuador without locality as a medium sized, epiphyte with an ascending bracteate rhizome giving rise to narrowly ovate, laterally compressed, ancipitous pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 3 to 4, large, articulate foliaceous sheaths and carrying 2, apical, lanceolate, conduplicate towards the base leaves that blooms on an axillary, nodding, 4'8" to 6' [140 to 180 cm] long, paniculate, peduncle much shorter than the rachis, rachis with about 15 spreading to ascending branches, each 2 to 8 flowered, many flowered inflorescence carrying smaller flowers.
