Found in rocky fields in Minas Gerais State of Brazil as a just medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with numerous, small, clustered, half buried, erect to curved pseudobulbs carrying several, plicate, 3 nerved, coriaceous, linear-lanceolate, acute attenuate below into the pseudopetiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, racemose, 20" to 28" [50 to 70 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence.
