Common Name The Salmon Colored Cystorchis

Found in Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations of 1200 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing, leafless saprophytic terrestrial with a thick, fleshy stem carrying numerous, bract-like, ovate-elliptic, salmon pink, acute, imbricate sheaths that blooms in the fall on an erect, .8" [2 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with basally broad, narrowly elliptic, acuminate, salmon pink floral bracts.
