Found in northern Sumatra at elevations around 670 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing terrestrial with a terete, glabrous, minutely glandular towards the inflorescence stem carrying 4 to 6, spreading, dull velvety brown with lighter blotches, obliquely ovate-ellipitc, glabrous, apiculate, rounded below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, dense, three to seven flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, equal to slightly larger than the ovaries floral bracts
