Found in Borneo in lower montane and hill forests in leaf litter at elevations of 700 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm to cool growing, leafless saprophytic terrestrial with a glabrous, sometimes sparsely hirsute distally, whitish to pinkish-white stem carrying several, ovate, acuminate, adpressed, glabrous, pinkish-white to pink with dark pink nerved sheaths that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a erect, .52 to .64" [1.3 to 1.7 cm] long, whitish to pinkish pubescent, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence with triangular-ovate, acute to acuminate, concave, ciliolate, 3 nerved, adpressed, pink floral bracts.
