Common Name The Narrow Leaved Dendrochilum
Flower Size .5" [1.75 cm] long
Found in penninsular Malaysia and Sumatra at elevations around sea level to 500 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphye with a long, woddy. terete rhizome giving rise to subcylindrical pseudobulbs spaced 1 to 1.5" [2.5 to 3.75 cm] apart and carrying a single, narrowly linear-lanceolate, bluntly mucroulate, basally narrowing leaf that blooms on one to several, basal, peduncle stout, provided with numerous, basal, elongate bracts, rachis scbrid, many flowered inflorescence with ovate, subacute, one half as long as the ovary floral bracts and carrying greenish white flowers.
