Found in Sabah Borneo in primary forests at elevations around 300 to 400 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a descending, strongly compressed, leafy to the apex stem that occasionally forms keikis, carrying equitant, bilaterally flattened, close set, incurved with the inner margin almost touching the outer margin of the leaf above, green, all about the same size, subfalcate-triangular, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on pseudo-terminal, ermerging from betwqeen a pair of dry brown leaflike scales at the stem apex, successively 1 to 2, flowered inflorescence.
