Common Name The Compressed Stem Dendrobium

Found in western Sumatra at elevations around 1500 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with strongly flattened above the base, forming a short pseudobulb, thin above and elongate, but still strongly flattened, leafy above stem carrying linear-lanceolate, narrowing towards the apex, thin leaves that blooms in the summer on fasciles on the toppmost nodes of leafy and leafless stems, short, successively single flowered inflorescence
