Found on Mindanao within the Philippines in mossy forests at elevations of 1500 to 2500 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with narrowly pyriform pseudobulbs carrying a single, leathery, linear to lanceolate leaf that blooms in the spring on a twisting, arching, arising with a new growth, to 25 flowered inflorescence carrying sweetly fragrant flowers
