Common Name The Narrow Lobe Dendrochilum

Found in Sabah Borneo on Mt Kinabalu in lower montane forests at elevations around 1400 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte or terrestrial with ovoid or fusiform, smooth, shiny grey-green more or less suffused red pseudobuls carrying ovate- oblong-elliptic to oblong-oblanceolate, obtuse to subacute, sometimes constricted a bit below the apex, thin textured, 7 to 9 main nerved, green above with narrow red margins or suffused red, beneath grey-green more or less suffused red, abruptly narrwoing below into the sulcate, petiolate base leaves that blooms on a pale dull red pendulous, pedunclefiliform, slightly dilated distally, .8 to 2.2" [2 to 5.5 cm] long, provided with 3 to 8, ovate, obtuse, erose, imbricate bracts, rachis quadrangular, 7.2 to 14" [18 to 35 cm] long, subdensely many [to 80] flowered inflorescence with bright flesh colorovate, obtuse to acute, longer than the ovary floral bracts.
