Found in western Sumatra at elevations around 1700 to 1800 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to close set, erect, linear, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a , mostly erect but arching at the apex, arising at the same time as the leaves, peduncle to 1.2" [3 cm] long, rachis laterally flattened, 2 to 2.4 [5 to 6 cm] long, 3.2 to 3.6" [9 cm] long overall, laxly 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, a little longer than the ovary floral bracts.
