Common Name The Bright Red Dendrochilum

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found on Mindanao within the Philippines close to the ground on trees at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with pear-shaped pseudobulbs carrying a single, lanceolate, leathery leaf that blooms on a 6" [15 cm] long, arising with a new growth, many flowered inflorescence .
