Common Name The Fragrant Dendrochilum

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in Penninsular Malaysia and Sumatra in montane forests on branches of moss covered trees at elevations around 1200 to 1500 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, broadly elliptical, leaf that blooms on an erect then nodding, 14" [35 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence arising on a newly developing pseudobulb and carrying scented flowers.
