Found in western Sumatra at unknown elevations as a small sized epiphyte with a shortly branched rhizome giving rise to cylindrical, narrowing towards the apex, pale green pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, linear, shortly acute, narrowing towards the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, arising on a newly emerging growth, peduncle to 4.8" [12 cm] long, thin, rachis to 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
