Common Name Haslam's Dendrochilum [Original Collector of species 1900's]

Found in Borneo near Mt Kinabalu at elevations of 2400 to 3100 meters as a miniature sized epiphyte with long, slender, subfusiform pseudobulbs carrying a single, apcial, erect, linear-lanceolate, obtuse, coriaceous, prominent midnerve, hardly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer through fall on a racemose, peduncle 2" [5 cm] long, rachis very slender, 2.8" [7 cm] long, to 25 flowered inflorescence with persistent, somewhat shorter than the ovary, strongly concave, acute, more or less spreading floral bracts.
