Found on Mindoro within the Philippines in dense mossy thickets at elevations around 2500 to 2600 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with elongate, thin pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on new arising growths, to 3.6" [9 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
