Found in Sumatra without locational data as a small sized epiphyte with a creeeping, branching, terete rhizome with 3.6" [9 cm] between each elongate, cylindrical pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, oblong to lanceolate, narrowing apically, basally broader into the channeled, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a slender, arising with the leaf, longer than the leaf, peduncle very thin, to 2.6" [6.5 cm] long, rachis quadrangular, channeled above and below to 8" [20 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
This species is close to D vaginatum but D incurvibrachium has a smaller lip without side lobes, and longer, more acute stelids.
Also close toD teleense but the dorsal sepal is obtuse, the petals narrow to a basal claw, the colum wing is irregularily toothed and the stelids arise from the base.
