Found in Sumatra in open swamp forests at elevations of 1900 to 2400 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a short, branching rhizome with 2.8" [7 cm] between each oblong, apically narrowing pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, elliptic-lanceolate, abruptly narrowing apically, basally acutely narrowing into the channeled, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a slender, arising with the leaf, longer than the leaf, peduncle thin, rachis flattened, alomost quadrangular, 3.4 to 6.8" [8.5 to 17 cm] long, 9 to 14 flowered inflorescence.
