Common Name The Entire Lip Dendrochilum

Found in Borneo in low open kerangas, low montane and sandy forests at elevations of 300 to 1350 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte or rarely terrestrial with much branched rhizomes with close set, at an acute angle to the rhizome, fusiform to narrowly oblong, smooth pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly linear, slightly dilated at or above the middle, obtuse and minutely apiculate, thin textured, 5 main nerved leaf that blooms on a filiform peduncle, 1.2 to 2.4" [3 to 6 cm] long, rachis narrowly quadrangular, 2 to 3" [5 to 7.5 cm] long, subdense to rather laxly many flowered inflorescence with ovate elliptic, acute bracts and ovate, apiculate, single nerved floral bracts.
