Found in the Philippines at elevations around 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with spindle-shaped pseudobulbs enveloped basally by elongate, speckled sheaths and carrry oblong-lanceolate, 7 veined, apically tapering, obtuse, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late winter, spring, summer and fall on a slender, 3 7/8" to 4" [19 to 20 cm] long, racemose inflorescence and floral bracts that just barely clasp the flowers base.
