A rare, small sized, cool growing, epiphytic species endemic to the Philippines in montane forests at elevations around 1600 meters with pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblong-lanceolate, acute, 3 veined, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a 2 ranked, 11.2" [23 cm] long, successively 10 to 20 flowered, racemose inflorescence.
