Found in Sumatra at elevations around 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping, stem-like rhizome with 1.4" [3.5 cm] between each terete pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly lanceolate, acute, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, appearing before the pseudobulbs mature, thin, rachis to 2" [5 cm] long, at least 5.6" [14 cm] long overall, 2 ranked, laxly many flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
