Found on Luzon within the Philippines in mossy montane forests at elevations around 1700 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with tapering at both ends, slender, longitudinally furrowed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-oblong, 3 veined, rarely 5 to 7 veined leaf that blooms in the fall on a terminal, longer than the leaf, 4" [10 cm] long, loosely few flowered inflorescence .
