Common Name or Meaning The Narrow Leafed Dendrochilum

Found on the Island Of Luzon, within the Philippines in montane forests at elevations of 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with stem-like, tapered at both ends pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, grass-like leaf that is grooved along the length as if pleated and blooms in the late summer and early fall on a semi-arching, slightly fractiflex, to 8" [20 cm] long, many [40] flowered inflorescence that arises with a new growth and holds the flowers densly at the upper 1/5 of the inflorescence.
