Found in Sumatra at elevations around 1000 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphye with a short, branching rhizome with [.8 to 2 cm] between each oblong-ovoid, at an acute angle to the rhizome, pale green turing yellowish, apically narrowing pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly linear, rather shortly acute leaf that blooms on a solitary, peduncle, sparsely hairy, .032 to .64" [.08 to 1.6 cm] long, rachis quadrangular, alos sparsely hairy, [1.4 to 2.4" [3.5 to 6 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
