Common Name Wood's Dendrochilum [American Military Commander in the Philippines early 1900's]

Flower Size .28" [7 mm]

Found on Mindoro within the Philippines at elevations around 1200 to 2600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with clustered, ovate to inversely pear shaped pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, leathery, oblanceolate, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect then arching, 2 non-floriferous bracts at the proximal end of the rachis, to 3.2" [8 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence.
