Found in east Java at elevations of 760 to 1000 meters as a medium sized , warm growing epiphyte with clustered pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, lanceolate, acute, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, peduncle somewhat longer than the rachis, to 26" [65 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
