Flower Size .48 to .6" 1.2 to 1.5 cm] long
Found in Sabah Borneo in hill and lower montane forests at elevations of 600 to 1100 meters as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect to spreading, simple, wiry, leafy above stems carrying narrowly linear, grass-like, acute to long-acuminate, NOT obliquely bilobed, margin narrowly revolute, densely thick, black, pilose hairy on both sides, beneath more so, thin textured, mid nerve sulcate above, prominent beneath leaves with densely brown pilose-hairy sheaths that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a sessile, emerging through the base of the leaf sheath opposite the blade , rachis .04 to .08" [1 to 2 mm] long, 2 flowered inflorescence with triangular-ovate, acute, glabrous, membraneous, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying resupinate, unscented, glabrous, pale yellow flowers with many scarlet nerves to orange white nerved flowers.
"Distinguished from others in the section by the brown-pilose hairy, acute to long-acuminate, NOT obliquely bilobed leaves, the broadly flabellate lip with broadly oblquely triangular, rounded side-lobes with involute lower margins, a very shallowly transversely ovate, subacute mid-lobe, and a disc with 2 lamellate outer keels and a narrower median keel which is raised and prominent distally."
