Common Name The Long Stelida Dendrochilum

Found in Kalimantan and Timur Borneo in mossy forests at elevations of 800 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with narrowly cylindrical to fusiform, erect, finely furrowed and rugose when dry pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, 3 to 4 nerved, with crystaline calcium oxalate bodies, linear-ligulate obtuse and minutely mucronate, attenuate below into the sulcate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, peduncle terete 1.6 to 2.8" [4 to 7 cm] long, without bracts, rachis quadrangular, 1.4 to 3.2" " [3.5 to 8 cm] long, lax to subdense, many flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
