Found in Luzon the Philippines at elevations of 100 to 900 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with the first 2 or so nodes swollen to form a pseudobulb, becoming thin and cane-like above stems that keiki all along the stem and carrying slightly flattened, linear, terete, rigid leaves that blooms in the winter and late spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence
