Common Name or Meaning The White Bearded Dendrobium [refers to the lip]

Found in the Philippines at elevations around 500 meters as a large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with pendulous, flattened, non branching stems carrying laterally flattened, lanceolate, plain green or suffused with purple leaves that blooms on a short, single flowered inflorescence arising from the leafless tips of the stem and carrying non-fragrant flowers.
