Common Name The Many Twig Dendrobium

Flower Size .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm]

Found in New Caledonia in damaged scrubland and in forest at elevations of 1500 to 2300 meters as a medium to large sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with bamboo-like, slender, branching and rebranching stems carrying many, above the middle, distichous, lanceolate, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring, summer fall on an axillary, .8 to 1.2" [[2 to 3 cm] long, opposite the leaves, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence.
