Found on Mindanao in the Philippines in the mossy cloud forests hanging from tree trunks and branches covered with moss at elevations around 1600 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with pendent, branching, cylindrical stems carrying thinly textured, entirely glabrous, linear to lanceolate, subsessile, notched apically, unequally bifid leaves that blooms in the late spring on an axillary, short, entirely glabrous, single flowered inflorescence with 1 to 3 arising on a node of leafless stems with up to 32 flowers per plant.
