Found in New Guinea at elevations around 800 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with simple, somewhat flexuous, terete, longitudinally sulcate, leafy stem carrying erect-patent, linear, acute, unequally bilobed, glabrous leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a short, densely several flowered inflorescence with minute, triangular floral bracts and carrying erect-patent to patent, rose-colored, glabrous flowers.
