Common Name or Meaning The Star-Carrying Dendrobium

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in Sumatra in montane forests at elevations around 1700 meters as a small to just medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with ovate basally, becoming terete, elongate apically pseudobulbs carrying almost terete, thin, channeled leaves held towards the middle of the terete apical portion of the pseudobulb that blooms on very short single flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the terete stem-like part of the pseudobulb.
