Common Name The Cryptarrhena-Like Dichaea

Flower Size 1/2" [1.2 cm]

Found only in Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama in moist rain and cloud forests on shady tree trunks at elevations of 500 to 2000 meters as a large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with branching stems enveloped by imbricating leaf sheath bvases carrying extened, reflexed, oblong to ovate-oblong, obtuse, apiculate leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on an axillary, .4 to .75" [1 to 1.8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a muricate ovary.
