Found in Napo Ecuador at elevations of 450 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to coolgrowing epiphyte with an erect to recumbent, simple to basally branched stem enveloped almost completely by imbricating, leaf sheath bases and carrying distichous, spreading, soft, articulated, green, linear-oblong, acute, apiculate leaves that blooms in the fall on an axillary, short, suberect, much shorter than the leaves, filiform, to .24" [6 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence with the capsule and the ovary muricate and carrying campanulate flowers with yellow white sepals and petals, a white lip, column and anther.
