Found in Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana and Surinam in rain forests at elevations of 50 to 1300 meters as a medium sized, pendulous, hot to cool growing, shade loving orchid with pendent stems enveloped completly by leaf sheath basess carrying sometimes brownish tinged, .
