Found eastern Ecuador at elevations of 450 to 1000 meters as a small to just medium sized sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with arcuate-pendent, elongate, basally branching stems enveloped by distichous, imbricate, deciduous, oblong-elliptic, acute, arcuate leaves that blooms in the summer through winter on an axillary, short, single flowered inflorescence.
