Found in western Java in bamboo clumps at elevations around 250 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing, mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with bright yellow rootsthat sometimes are thickened inot tubers giving rise to an erect, 4.4" [11 cm] long stem carrying a successively single, few flowered inflorescence
