Flower Size 3.2 to 3.4" [8 to 8.5 cm]

Found in the Philippines in Davao on mt Apo as a small sized terrestrial with a creeping rhizome giving rise to a single, elliptic-lanceoalte, 5 veined, purple, elongate petioalte base leaf that blooms on an erect, 8" [20 cm] long, with several tubular bracts, rachis 3" [7.5 cm] long, densely several flowered inflorescence.
