Flower Size 1.6 to 2" [4.5 to 5 cm]

Found in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands at elevations of sea level to 600 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with yellow green, basally swollen, rugose, elliptic pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong, minutely bilobed apically leaf that blooms mostly in the late spring and summer on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence with a lanceolate bract.
