Common Name The Bell-Like Dipodium In Australia - The Bellflower Hyacinth
Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]
Found in Victoria and South Australia in open forests and woodlands on basalt lava flows all in well drained soils at elevations of 5 to 200 meters as a large sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with no leaves with overlapping, blunt, basal bracts that blooms in the later spring and summer on an erect, reddish brown, to 28" [to 70 cm] long, 10 to 35 flowered inflorescence carrying campanulate flowers.
